Chicago: A Child’s Playground

Chicago, like many big cities, has had a reputation as a dangerous place. Throughout the decades, the city has been notorious for violence and crime–for example, the infamous mobsters of the 1920s.

But Chicago has also been home to families, including children. Chicagoans look back fondly on their childhoods in the city. It offers plenty of entertainment to all, from the youngest to the oldest.
